Florida Great Getaway Rules
Timing:
Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 A.M Eastern Standard Time on 2/14/10 and ends at 11:59 P.M. Eastern Standard Time on 5/16/10. (the"Promotion Period").
Eligibility:
Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and theDistrict of Columbia, age 25 or over. Officers, directors, employeesand agents of the Sponsor, and their respective parents, affiliates,subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, product providers, or anyother vendor or entity directly associated with this sweepstakes, andthe immediate family members and those living in the same household,are not eligible to participate.
There are 2 Methods of Entry:
1.) Visit the Sponsor's website; www.VF.VacationPlanning.net, request freetravel brochures from any destination, and you will be automatically-entered 2.) Mail the reader service form found in newspaper inserts and magazines to Visit Florida, 4630 Isles Drive, Pensacola, FL 32507. All information fields on the form need to be completed or entry will be void. All entries are subject to verification. Limit: 1 entry per person during the Promotion Period. All requests must be postmarked by 5/16/10.
Prize:
One grand prize of a three-night stay at any one of the participating destinations, plus $500 cash. Transportation costs are not included. Winner will be drawn randomly and will be notified via certified mail.
Drawing and Notification:
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing to be held on or about 5/17/10.Odds of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Grand Prize winner will be notified in writing via overnight delivery.
Prize Conditions:
No transfer or substitution of prizes is available, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. By participating in the contest, the winner agrees to allow Collinson Publishing to use his/her name(s) and likeness for publicity, advertising or editorial purposes without further compensation. Grand Prize winner will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, to be returned within 7 days of written confirmation, or prize award will be void and an alternate winner selected. All taxes, costs, and expenses associated with prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prize cannot be sold, bartered, transferred, or given to another individual. A 1099 MISC. INCOME Federal tax form for the prize value will be issued to the Winner.
Sweepstakes Conditions:
Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, or miscommunications, computeror software malfunctions, telephone transmission problems, technical failures, garbled transmissions, damage to a user's computer equipment (software or hardware), or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether, human, mechanical, electronic or otherwise. Sponsor is not responsible for illegible, damaged, lost, late or postage-due mailed entries. Should the Internet portion of the sweepstakes need to be terminated, due to technical difficulties, winners will be selected from all eligible entries received prior to the termination. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Independent Sweepstakes Administrator and waive any right to claim ambiguity in regard to the sweepstakes mechanics and implementation, or interpretation of these Official Rules. Winner and all entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, its agencies, and their respective officers, and employees, from and against any claims,damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to anyperson (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole orin part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize offered, or participation in this sweepstakes. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Official Rules Request:
For a hard-copy of the complete Official Rules, send a self-addressed,stamped #10 envelope (postmarked no later than 5/1/10) to: "Florida Great Getaway" Sweepstakes Official Rules Request, 15 TechnologyParkway South, Suite 250 Norcross, GA 30092.
Winner Confirmation:
For written confirmation of the Grand Prize winner, send a #10 business-size self-addressed, stamped envelope to: "Florida Great Getaway" Sweepstakes Winner Confirmation Request, 15 Technology ParkwaySouth, Suite 250 Norcross, GA 30092. All requests must be received by 5/30/10.
Sweepstakes Administrator:
Collinson Publishing, 15 Technology Parkway South, Suite 250, Norcross,GA 30092, who is responsible for overseeing the awarding of the Grand Prize, and whose decisions on all matters related to this promotion will be considered final.
