Unique tours of this National Historic Landmark, including the caves, are offered daily and on special weekends. Enjoy the free tour and free samples at the end. Yuengling Museum and Gift shop is situated along historic Mahantongo Street, home of John O’Hara. Founded in 1829 by David G. Yuengling, it is still a family-owned company, now in operation for more than 180 years. Through five generations Yeungling has remained unique among breweries, distinguished by its culture, heritage, traditions, and portfolio of brands.

Experience America’s Anthracite Heritage in one exciting adventure at Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine in Ashland, Pa. Tour a real Anthracite Coal Mine, 1800 feet into the side of the mountain, and take a ride on an old-fashioned narrow gauge steam train. A museum, park, and gift shop are located nearby.

Hawk Mountain a National Natural Landmark. The 200-degree panorama from atop Hawk Mountain’s famed North Lookout is one of the most scenic views in the eastern United States. Visitors can see the endless stretch of forest along the Kittatinny Ridge and view a patchwork of farmland and fields that flank both sides of the mountain.
