HUDSON RIVER VALLEY, NY

Welcome to the Hudson Valley!

Since Henry Hudson first sailed up his namesake river, we've been welcoming visitors to our region for over 400 years. Today, gracious guides greet you at our historic sites, our vivacious vintners are delighted to show you their award winning wineries, and friendly farmers can provide you with literally everything from soup to nuts. Our country fairs and festivals, charming villages, and Hudson River boat cruises have entertained millions of visitors who love the Hudson Valley experience.

We have some of the most visited sites in America. Don't miss West Point, the Great Estates, Culinary Institute of America, and our state capital, Albany. Woven among these stellar attractions are museums, art galleries, sculpture gardens, antiques shops, Revolutionary War battlefields, lighthouses, and so much more to see and do.

Magnificent mansions and amusing museums; gorgeous gardens and great golf; award winning wineries and white water rafting. A week won’t be enough to see everything here in the Hudson Valley, but it’s a good excuse to come back again and again. It’s a region so full of fun, you’ll be planning your next trip back while you’re still here.

No matter where you lay your head, you’ll find excellent lodging in the Hudson Valley from four star hotels, spas and resorts to cozy B&Bs. A wide range of properties afford even the choosiest traveler a perfect place to spend the night.

The greatest chefs come from the Culinary Institute of America, located right here in the Hudson Valley. Whether it’s casual dining or white tablecloth service, gourmet fare can be found even in the smallest villages. The best part is that our farms provide the fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and wines you’ll find on many of our restaurant’s menus.

The Hudson Valley’s hundreds of fairs, festivals, and performances are packed with entertainment. Food festivals for apples, cheese, garlic, wine, and many more attest to the verdant growing area of our farms. Country fairs, county expositions, and cultural festivities of all nationalities offer an inside look to the diversity of our population. Live performances from Civil War reenactments to free concerts will keep you busy all year long.

Come back often for the Hudson Valley experience. You'll receive a warm welcome every time.
