Location:  Grand Rivers is located in the heart of Kentucky’s Western Waterlands, between Kentucky and Barkley Lakes.  Grand Rivers borders the Northern Entrance to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. 

We are located only 3 miles off I-24, KY exit 31; two hours Northwest of Nashville, TN, and three and a half hours Southeast of St. Louis, MO. 

Overview:  Once isolated by water, today the Village of Grand Rivers is West Kentucky’s premier waterfront resort village and the heart of the Land Between the Lakes area.  

With two of the region's finest resort marinas - one on each lake - Grand Rivers provides unlimited water recreation. 

Located on beautiful Kentucky Lake, Lighthouse Landing offers charming lakeside cottages with dramatic sunsets overlooking Kentucky Lake, a 200 slip marina, sailboat rentals, sailing school and boat sales and services.

Green Turtle Bay Resort is the premier marina resort on Lake Barkley and offers an abundance of amenities.  Facilities include a 420 slip marina, vacation condominium rentals, yacht sales and service, boat rentals, conference center, two waterfront restaurants, two outdoor pools, and a fitness center and indoor pool. 

Connecting the two lakes and the two marinas is the heart of Grand Rivers with the nostalgic Main Street feel of simpler times. Grand Rivers offers shops from antiques to boutiques and from bikes to biker apparel. The village is made complete with Patti’s 1880’s Settlement, and the Badgett Playhouse Theater.

Patti’s 1880’s Restaurant is famous for their 2” thick pork chops, mile-high meringue pies and flower pot bread. Patti’s Restaurant was voted #1 Restaurant for Tourism by the State of Kentucky, and was voted #1 by Southern Living Magazine Readers for Best Small Town Restaurant in the Southeast United States.

The Badgett Playhouse was designed and built to be the permanent home of the Variety! Music, Memories and More Show.  Variety! is a fast paced, two-hour Branson-style revue that features music from the 40’s to the present. The show also features a tribute to the armed forces. In addition to Variety!, the show calendar includes up to 10 additional productions and over 175 performances each year including the Christmas Show, original musicals, and special productions.

More than just a summer lake destination, Grand Rivers offers year-round attractions and events from spring through Christmas including Badgett Playhouse productions, National Marina Day celebration, September Storytelling, Hunters Moon Fall Festival, and an inspiring Holiday Festival of Lights.

With all of its charm and beauty, it is no wonder that this tiny village of 350 people is drawing national attention.  The Grand Rivers Jetty on Kentucky Lake was named by Cosmopolitan Magazine as the top romantic spot in the state of Kentucky.  Southern Living Magazine Readers honored Grand Rivers with two Readers Choice Awards.  In 2008 the Grand Rivers Jetty ranked number four in the Readers Choice Most Scenic View Category and Grand Rivers ranked number 8 in the Best Small Town Category.
