Florida is a great state. And, it is one of the few states that offer you a Discovery Cruise out to sea. You will enjoy the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Ft. Lauderdale’s spectacular skyline. Don’t be surprised if you find a few dolphins swimming by. Sailing back to Ft. Lauderdale offers some breathtaking views of the city at night. Discovery is large enough to carry up to 1,200 people so you will also find it fun to meet and mingle with other guests. You will enjoy the club atmosphere with music, videos and all the action.
Discovery departs daily except Wednesdays for a Fun Day Cruise that takes you to Grand Bahama Island and back in the same day. You will enjoy this all-inclusive cruise, which includes all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinner buffets, all beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, coffee and more. There are all types of activities including games, contests, spacious sun decks, pool, high energy lounge, a game room, Wii Room®, a Las Vegas-style casino and live entertainment. And when we say “all-inclusive,” we mean it; there are no additional fees, charges or surcharges that appear in small print.
Unlike other casinos, Discovery features Roulette and Craps. There’s a lot of slots too.
There are also optional amenities you can chose to book, such as a cabin if you are traveling with family or a group. Gourmet dining in our Grand Bahama Grill is available for a small additional fee and, of course, we do feature some premium wines and cocktails.
Discovery’s previous passengers usually cruise at least once or twice a year to enjoy the sun, sea and sightseeing experience.
Discovery departs Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale at 9:30 a.m. (doors close at 8:15 a.m.) and arrives in Grand Bahama at 2 p.m. Passengers return to the ship by 4:45 p.m. for the cruise back to Ft. Lauderdale, arriving there at 10:30 p.m.
