C.W. Rogers, Vice President and
General Manager of the Frisco Railroad, shook hands with B.F. Sikes,
landowner, on a deal that would send the Frisco Line right through this
area in 1881. The area prospered through trade and train passenger
service. In appreciation, the residents named their city after C.W.
Rogers. Today, the Frisco Caboose is located near the in the Rogers Historic District,
and the city still features a blend of superior business minds and
friendly families who offer hometown kindness to all who pass through.
