Michigan: Great Lakes. Great Times. Great Fall Color.

Frankenmuth was founded in 1845 by a group of fifteen German-Lutheran missionaries who came to this area for the purpose of teaching Christianity to the Chippewa Indians. Franken depicts the province from which the settlers came and Muth means courage in German. The name Frankenmuth means Courage of the Franconian.

Michigan's Upper Peninsula

This is America’s "5-Star Wilderness." There’s simply no place that can match the stunning beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula — or all there is to do. Tour colonial forts, iron and copper mines. Stroll a ghost town. Explore national parks. Whatever you decide, you’ll never be far from shoreline on three Great lakes.

Petoskey-Harbor Springs-Boyne Country

In our area of northwest Michigan, the pace is slower. Unhurried. Take your time and enjoy unique shops, inviting restaurants, pristine beaches, exciting casinos and world-class golf. It’s all here in a charming Victorian setting along the lake. It’s still special.
